EMILIE AUTUMN

Oh. My. Goth. An Emilie Autumn concert. Near where I live. For $18. OGHSGIGSDIJGHFIDJFAHUIFSI THAT SOUNDS SO EPIC!!!

Sadly, the chances of me being able to go: VERY low. The only reason I know about it is cause I was looking for a different concert at the same place (We Are The In Crowd), and my mom said I could go to THAT one if I bring a friend, so I'm assuming the rules still aply. Problem? I have no even moderately goth friends. They would probably run in fear from Emilie. Gahhhhh normies :/

You'd be surprised at how many non goths appreciate Emilie's aesthetic and musical style. Of course, I'd go with you except I believe we live on opposite ends of the planet.

Perhaps you could try and get some of your "normie friends" (btw - adorable terminology) into Emilies music.

All else fails, promise them that if they go to this with you, you'll make it up for them next time their mum says only if a friend goes with them. :)

I always drag my non-Goth friends along to concerts >.<

Play them songs like How Strange which won't blow their brains out and explain how much it would mean to you to go! I'm sure if you tried you could find at least one good friend who'll eventually roll their eyes and go, "Oh, all right..."

I'm trying to go. As long as my schedule stays clear!

Another thought is bring an older sibling. I'm going to see EA as well and my sister is bringing me cause under 16's have to have someone older than 16 with them (she knows that if the roles were reversed I'd do the same) and even if any of my friends did like EA I'm travelling to another country to see her.

I'm going to an Emilie Autumn concert next month - had to beg someone to come with me! I've nominated you for the (Dark) Sunshine Award!
